October is here and I would say fall is in the air but the 80 + degree days are not agreeing...
Please have a look in the forms section for the October Happenings newsletter- it will be going home on Tuesday. We are still looking for volunteers this week for Parent Visitation,Book Fair,Picture Day, and Bake Sale. Please drop me a email if you can help out.
Membership is still available- please sign up...REMEMBER that you cannot be a class parent, volunteer for events or participate in the 5th GR Celebration Committee unless you are a member.
Remember if you are shopping online, try going throught the box tops market place for retailers like Barnes & Noble, JCPenney, Walmart, ToysRUs, Apple Store, Best Buy and Target. These companies give an automatic percentage back to our school!!! (But you have to go through the BoxTops Marketplace so they can track the purchase). Its a no-brainer!
FREE MONEY!!!! That's what our school gets just for collecting the following: BOX TOPS and TERRA CYCLE BRIGADE, Ink Cartidges and TARGET Take Charge for Education: Please collect and send in Box Tops and Juice Pouches. The PTA is also collecting printer ink cartridges (all kinds). We are currently looking for someone to chair the ink cartridge recycling program. If you register at Box Tops for Education and shop through their links, you can get great discounts and coupons and we earn additional money for our school..http://www.btfe.com/. Also, our school participates in the Target Take Charge for Education Program. If you have a TARGET Red Card Visa, you can register your account and our school gets 1% of all purchases (any one who has an account can sign up and deisignate our school, friends, grandparents, neighbors).
